会议宗旨
党的二十大报告指出：“高质量发展是全面建设社会主义现代化国家的首要任务”。在高质量发展主题下，教育作为国之大计、党之大计，必须积极应对中国式现代化战略需求，以学生发展核心素养为核心推进和落实素质教育，创新人才培养理念、模式和方法，采用多元化教育方式提升学生的核心素养。作为培养学生发展核心素养的重要途径，项目式学习（Project-based-Learning，简称PBL）备受关注。
为深入探讨人工智能时代的项目式学习，北京师范大学珠海校区举办“项目式学习国际研讨会2024：AI赋能的项目式学习与21世纪核心素养研讨会”（International Conference on Project-Based Learning 2024:AI-Enabled Project-Based Learning and 21st Century Core Competencies）,诚邀全球的教育研究者和实践者齐聚中国珠海，共赴本次理论与实践盛宴，期待进一步推进教育改革创新，助力我国教育强国、科技强国、人才强国建设。

Conference Purpose
The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China states: "High-quality development is the primary task of building a modern socialist country in all respects." Under the theme of high-quality development, education, as a major national and party strategy, must actively respond to the strategic needs of Chinese-style modernization. This involves promoting and implementing quality education centered on the core competencies of student development, innovating talent cultivation concepts, models, and methods, and adopting diversified educational approaches to enhance students' core competencies. Project-Based Learning (PBL) is a crucial method for cultivating these competencies and has garnered significant attention.
To deeply explore PBL in the era of artificial intelligence, Beijing Normal University Zhuhai Campus is hosting the "International Conference on Project-Based Learning 2024: AI-Enabled Project-Based Learning and 21st Century Core Competencies." We cordially invite educational researchers and practitioners from around the world to gather in Zhuhai, China, for this theoretical and practical feast, with the aim of further advancing educational reform and innovation, and contributing to the construction of an education power, a science and technology power, and a talent power in China.
